A 1946 Service Excerpt For German Cross In Gold Recipient Major General Wolfgang Von Wild Hold marked "L/13"Measuring 21 x 14. 8 7. 8 x 5. 3 13. 5 x 9. 9 cm; Date of item: 1946; Condition: good, signs of aging, slight rips; Von Wild started his military career in mid 1918 when entering the navy. Over the course of the next 27 years he received ten promotions, the last one to Major General in Mar 1945. In 1934 he was transferred into the Luftwaffe, serving in the Naval Air Forces.
